Installing ActivePerl

Pkgadd Format

This package installs perl in: /usr/local/ActivePerl-5.6

To install:
gunzip ActivePerl-5.6.0.6xx-sun4-solaris-thread-multi.gz
pkgadd -d ActivePerl-5.6.0.6xx

ActiveState Installer Format

Extract the files from the tar-gzipped archive into a temporary directory.  Execute the install.sh file.

To install:
tar -xzf ActivePerl-5.6.0.616-i686-solaris-thread-multi.tar.gz
cd ActivePerl-5.6.0.6xx
install.sh
